I have been lucky enough to play tennis most days down here.   I think I need to update my tennis wardrobe.  I have been too lazy to go into town so I have been surfing the net and here are some of my favourite outfits.

I think on the right person a simple dress can look stunning. Simple works best so I would not be a fan of Serena Williams outfits.

I think Maria Sharapova rarely gets it wrong.

I play in the park in what I think is one of the most stunning venues to play tennis in. The views are amazing.

Have a lovely weekend.

This is a nice simple outfit

Stella McCartney

I like this green dress

A great selection of colours

We are basking in the most wonderful sunshine. I must admit I am not a great sun bather but I am playing lots of tennis, walking the dog and sitting outside until late at night.

I have gone for many early walks when the scenery has been simply stunning.

I also joined a yoga class which I have so enjoyed.

I am on my own with Rocky during the week which can be lonely at times but a great opportunity also to read and reflect.

I hope you are enjoying our lovely sun filled summer. Have a fun weekend.

Internet connection is still very poor so I do apologise if I am not commenting as much as usual.

It is the weekend and the sun has shone all week and this little village has been so busy with day trippers visiting the beach.

My husband and son have arrived down early. I think the dog was craving some male bonding and rough and tumble.

I had a busy week of walking , tennis, yoga and sunbathing. I have not ventured into the sea yet but maybe soon.

I went out for a glass of wine last night and returned many hours later so I am a little lazy today.

I have spent my week in shorts so I look forward to dressing up a little.

The interior pictures are from Etsy it is an online magazine well worth a look.

Have a lovely weekend

Pardon my absence i know I have been a little quite.  It takes a lot of work to pack up for the summer, leave your house in order and then unpack and open up the summer house.

My Internet connection is very intermittent so forgive me it is very difficult to comment on other blogs yesterday it took me half an hour to leave just one comment.  But i am still looking in on all my favourite blogs.

The weather has been glorious I feel I am on the French Rivera .

I love the beach look so here are a few of my favourites.

This is where I hope to spend many days.

I think accessories come into their own in the summer.

Have a lovely sun filled happy week.

It is a grey day here today so I thought I would do a fashion post on a lady who loves to wear colour and wears it so well and she is not in her twenties.

It is the Queen the lady who wears colour better than anyone I know ( not that I know her really) .her main dressmaker is Angela Kelly and with a name like that she comes from Ireland.

Which outfit do you like the best.

Photos via mail , my royals

I love this picture this was taken when her horse won at Royal Ascot.
